THE WINCHESTER IN THE BASEMENT
Six hundred pounds, one flight of stairs, zero drywall damage.
A gun safe is the job most movers quietly decline. Narrow basement stairs, a turn at the bottom, and a load that punishes any mistake instantly.
We came with the right straps, the right dolly and enough hands to control the descent inch by inch. It went down slow, landed level, and the walls came out of it looking exactly like they did that morning.

Moving day only counts as finished when there's somewhere to sleep. So the bed goes on the truck last and comes off first.

Safes don't care about your doorway. One went into a storage unit off a hot concrete drive; the other into a finished basement with a wood-paneled turn we had to measure twice.

A nursery, a brick stairwell, and a family that still ate dinner on time.
Moving with little kids is a scheduling problem as much as a lifting one. The crib comes apart late and goes back together early, and the toys don't disappear into an unlabeled box.
This one also came with a third-floor brick stairwell that made every tall piece a two-man hand-off. We padded the rails, took the corners slow, and the family was unpacking the kitchen before dark.

We wrapped it, stood it on end, and walked it down one landing at a time. Nothing on the walls, nothing on the couch, and the living room downstairs was staged before we pulled off.
